Snapshots - The Roman Empire

I haven’t been active as Kabalyero Kidd in The Roman Empire region because I’ve been very busy with my real life work but The Roman Empire region in Second Life is still one of my favorite place in-world. What I really like about The Roman Empire region are the people and of course the fights. Here, I’ve collected all of the snapshots I took at The Roman Empire and uploaded them for everyone to see and to free my hard drive of some much needed space. Skinless Avatars

Last February 5, 2008 there was a skin theft protest at a mall in Scapoli. Out of curiousity, I went to take a look at an actual skin theft protest. An avatar named Thora Charron was there with a huge sign above her head. The sign had the words “stop stealing my work” written on it. A few other personalities were also there but what caught my attention were two avatars, a male and female, wearing a plain white texture as their skin with the words “I’d rather go naked than wear stolen skins”. The white texture skin looked creepier than the default grey skin seen on your avatar while it’s loading. (more…)

SL Botanical Garden

I did some exploring today because I was capturing some video clips for a brief Second Life video for a real life magazine. One of the places I visited was the SL Botanical Garden.

The botanical garden is not just on a small parcel of land, it is on an island in its own sim and it’s very beautiful.

SL Botanical Garden

You can spend your entire day just looking at the beauty and elegance of the place and with Winglight, you will be able to take some nice snapshots of the place.

The place is big but I was able to visit the Greenhouse and see the beautifully made Waterfalls.

The Waterfalls

If your real life is giving you too much stress or you just need a good place to relax and enjoy the scenery then you must visit SL Botanical Gardens.
